Habitat Hero Trunk

Become a habitat hero with your schoolyard or classroom!

The Habitat Hero Trunk contains all the materials an educator needs to introduce their school, nature center, or home to our Habitat Hero Program. Armed with newly developed curriculum and activities to get youth excited about how to use native plants, start a garden or become waterwise. This trunk allows educators to set up learning stations with books,  other resources that can be used in the classroom, at a educational event, or tabling events like expos and festivals. There are also Get Outside! kits that provide the supplies needed to start your own garden.

This FREE resource is available to all educators in the intermoutain west regions that encompass the sagebrush ecosystems. To request a trunk, please fill out the request form  or call  or email  Jacelyn Downey (307) 756-3941
