Do you love Moraine Park? Watching elk grazing in the meadow or fishing the willow flats of the park's headwater streams? Rocky Mountain National Park has given so much to the community of Northern Colorado and it's time to give back! Overbrowsing by elk and pressure from visitors have taken their toll on this uniquely western destination. But with a little help from volunteers, Rocky Mountain National Park can reverse these trends and help the natural habitat of many animals thrive! During this project we will be planting willow stakes that volunteers harvested the Thursday before in areas of Moraine Park that need it most.
