Audubon Afterschool: Still Snow Much Fun
Learn more about snow in this virtual youth education program.
Thursday, January 14, 2021
4:00pm - 5:30pm Mountain Online Event

Kids between the ages of 7–11 years-old are welcome to join our Community Naturalists to learn about nature in monthly virtual sessions. Each hands-on, interactive program will include an activity kit mailed right to your home.
Join us for another deep dive into snow. Last month we took a look at how animals adjust to the presence of snow and cold in the Snow Much Fun class. This time we will take a closer look at snow: what is it, why does it behave the way it does, and what can we learn from it? They say that every snow crystal is unique (whoa, that's cool!). That has a lot to do with the way they fall to the Earth. What kind of snowflakes have you seen? In the heart of winter, it’s only right that we get a little closer to the ground and appreciate the wonders of snow.
January 6 is the last day to register.
Cost: $15 per student
