With spring upon us, migratory birds are returning to Great Salt Lake, making their long journey to breeding grounds. As they arrive, we're dedicating two days to get the community involved in our ongoing efforts to improve important bird habitat for the migratory species returning to the lake, as well as the wintering species that have relied on it through the colder months!

During Gillmor Sanctuary Workdays, Audubon staff and volunteers will perform hands-on, gardening-like tasks at Audubon's Gillmor Sanctuary at Great Salt Lake. Join us to lend a helping hand and, of course, enjoy some birdwatching along the way! Registration is limited and open for March 29th and April 18th. Volunteers are welcome to register for one or both days.

The event will be held at the beautiful Gillmor Sanctuary, a protected haven for migrating birds, offering a secluded environment away from development. Please note that due to the location's natural setting, there will be no on-site bathrooms, and attendees should be prepared to walk on uneven terrain for some distance.
