This latest and greatest resource is a worksheet that walks you through creating a Habitat Hero Garden in a step-wise fashion.  Start with drawing a diagram of your property and analyzing the site.  After getting a better idea on sun requirements, orientation of yard, wind direction etc... you will be able to determine microclimates and take advantage of planting plants that will excel in the hottest and driest to the coolest and wettest parts of your yard.  Then decide on type, size and shape of garden and which plant palette will suit those needs.  Draw a diagram of your garden bed and then it's off to the preparation of the site for planting.  What will you need to consider for planting and maintenance and how can you organize your plant wish list best?  All of these questions and more will be answered in this comprehensive guide!
