Request an Event

We provide workshops, presentations, youth programs, and community plantings customized for your needs. To schedule one, contact Jamie Weiss (jweiss@audubon.org).

Learn how to design and plant a Habitat Hero garden that attracts birds, pollinators, and other wildlife. Workshops are suitable for both new and experienced gardeners.

Youth Programs

Connect youth to nature in their own backyards. Our programs are designed to spark a sense of curiosity about the natural world.

Community Plantings

We partner with city agencies, schools, nurseries, home owner associations, CSAs, and other municipalities to plant demonstration gardens in publicly-visible spaces like parks and roadway medians. Inviting the public to help plant them provides a sense of community ownership.

“The full day Habitat Hero workshop was a great way to provide our Master Gardeners with a comprehensive view of the interactions between native plants, birds, and pollinators. The Audubon presentation was delivered with a high level of professionalism, incorporating hands on activities, lecture, and videos that kept the students attention all day.” –Jeff Pieper, Horticulture & Small Acreage Agent, Eagle County CSU Extension
