Audubon Afterschool: Snow Much Fun

December 10, 2020

Tickets are required for this virtual event.

We’re excited to continue our youth virtual learning opportunities with Audubon Afterschool! Kids between the ages of 7–11 years-old are welcome to join our Community Naturalists to learn about nature in monthly virtual sessions. Each hands-on, interactive program will include an activity kit mailed right to your home.

Ever wondered how resident birds and other animals survive the cold temperatures and deep snows of a Rocky Mountain winter? We’ll start by looking at a number of different types of snow crystals. Then, we’ll examine some of the methods animals use to stay warm when snow blankets the ground! December 3 is the last day to register.

Cost: $15 per student
