Ranchers are the stewards of America’s grasslands. Audubon's certification can help create a market opportunity and credibility to consumers. We can also provide technical assistance, scientific monitoring, and possible habitat enhancement project funding.
Audubon recognizes that for ranches to be economically viable, they need to be ecologically healthy. That's why we're working with ranches to keep America's grasslands intact. Audubon's Conservation Ranching Initiative connects you to a network of land management resources and generates positive public exposure. Participation is completely voluntary.
If you're interested in applying for certification, here are the protocols, an initial questionnaire, and the application.
